Spring has Sprung (We have Flowers at the New house!)

I have never had a green thumb.  I have tried.  I get very excited when spring comes.  All the beautiful flowers with different shapes and colors and scents.  Totally natural to want to bring them home and have them all to myself.  Problem is they wouldn't last long and I would be sad and that is why in our current home, there is only tulips, nothing more.

We have been through almost all seasons working on this house.  We started the end of summer.  Fall was a blur, Winter actually just left and now spring has sprung in our new yard.  It's amazing watching what has not only survived this winter, but what is popping up in our new yard.  I have never had daffodils of my own and now I do and a lot of them.  I wasn't even aware that there were flower beds in our new yard, they were buried but the flowers persist.  We also have forsythia bush, or one that survived what my husband removed.

Here is a before:

Back Yard LeftBack Yard LeftAll of that brush except the rose bush is gone now. You can see where I got there to late to the right and was already cleared.

Hard to look at all of that because it is gone.  I think there were a few things living in there.

This is what has survived :)

Looks like we have quite a bit of tulips as well that will be blooming soon.  Pretty exciting to see what we will be sharing the rest of our lives with :).

Here are some more taken this morning.
